NewGen Freedom® Boxwood (Buxus NewGen Freedom® ‘SB 300’) is the perfect choice for gardeners seeking a resilient, fast-growing shrub with a clean, uniform shape. Known for its glossy green foliage and slightly taller-than-wide form, NewGen Freedom® adds structure and beauty to any landscape, whether used as a medium hedge, foundation planting, or specimen plant. It grows quickly, adding 3 to 6 inches per year, and is highly resistant to boxwood leafminer and boxwood blight, making it a reliable, low-maintenance option. While it may bronze slightly in winter, especially in full sun or unprotected locations, NewGen Freedom® is deer-resistant and requires minimal care, responding well to nitrogen applications if needed. Perfect for creating a polished look in your garden or outdoor space, this boxwood is ideal for both formal and residential landscapes.
