Known for its fragrant, soft, and ferny foliage, this plant thrives in moist, well-drained soil, making it an excellent choice for woodland gardens or shady spots. Growing 1-2 feet tall and spreading up to 3 feet, it quickly fills in gaps, providing a low-maintenance groundcover that works well in naturalized gardens, alongside trees, or as part of a shady border. Hayscented Fern is easy to grow, deer-resistant, and drought-tolerant once established.
